Earlier I replied to the question of the differences between Nevis & Tortola. On another forum, the number of cruise ship passengers slated to land on Tortola in November was posted - it was 48,576 cruise passengers (6,000 on Nov. 14th alone). As the Island only has about 19,000 residents, one can imagine the impact. My point is, unless you like beaches with hordes of day visitors, choose Nevis and enjoy the beauty and tranquility.
