Negril in late Oct?

Planning a week stay in Negril last week of Oct. Anyone stayed there during this time? Will i be able to enjoy the beach?

I've been to Negril during every season and there is no reason not to go. The advantage to the ocean is that temps rarely vary more than 10 degrees from Jan to August. You are also pretty well past the peak hurricane season, but if you're worried about that, look at trip insurance. I would go for it.

Of course you'll be able to enjoy the beach. Late Oct is pretty safe as far as threat of hurricanes go. My wife and I honeymooned in Negril Oct '02 and we had the beach to ourselves....just the way we like it!

Negril is one of the best places I know to be in the rain, if it does...rain-swimming, sitting under a covered bar watching the rain, playing dominoes in the rain....
