Negril

Has anyone been to Negril lately? I'm thinking about going to Beaches Negril and would love to hear about the food, beach, etc. Thanks

Beaches, Negril is a wonderful hotel. If you have kids and are taking them - the facilities are FANTASTIC and there is lots to keep them entertained. The Beach is GREAT, the food is fine. The Negril Beach is 7 miles and Beaches is about in the middle so great for walks on the beach!

Beaches Negril is wonderful. The beach is great, there is more to do than you can do in a week, and if you want to just lay around you can do that too. Great value for your money, they treat you like a king. The people of Negril are great too. It's awsome. The beach is beautiful, The grounds are nice and the rooms too. It's a new resort. The food is great and there is tons of it. They have areas for adults only if you don't have kids, and they have lots of kids activities if you want to take them but still get some relaxation. Check it out.

Beaches Negril is really beautiful. The staff was attentive and nice and the resort is located right in the middle for easy access to everything up and down the beach. The place was so lush, the grounds are amazingly kept, and I felt like I owned the place when I was there. Man, I gotta get back soon. GO!

We loved Negril!! We were there
2 years ago and the people there
were friendly and the food at the
hotels and beach restaurants were
great! Just walk down the beach
and take your pick of where you
want to eat! There will be locals
passing out flyers all day long-- take
them because they often offer
discounts at restaurants or advertise
a reggae party or limbo show.
One word of advice: there will be
some persistent hustling by vendors,
but just say no firmly and politely
and they will go on their way. But
do take a look at some of the
handmade wood carvings- they are
lovely! I bought back a beautiful
dolphin carving! Go to the nearby
Arts & Crafts Centre-- just a short
cab ride there!
Have fun in Negril-- No problem mon!!
Janice
