Need Travel Ideas for Ladies Trip

Never been to the Bahamas but wanting to plan ladies getaway (from kids & significant others) in March/April of next year. Modest budgets but looking for all inclusive spots for a 3-5 day trip. Looking for fun, shopping & massages but not looking to hook-up though. Appreciate any suggestions.

I would suggest Breezes on Cable Beach in Nassau. My hubby and I have stayed there 3 times and really enjoyed the place. It was not uncommon to see a group of ladies, or a group of guys at the resort, seemingly doing just what you are wanting to do (leave the world behind).

The resort is all inclusive. The beach is great, so is the pool, but in March/April the Caribbean water may be a bit cool. Go as late in April as you can.

There's plenty of entertainment to join in if you want to, or just sit back and watch. A very good band plays at night for dancing if you want to.

There's a bus stop right in front of the resort. The "jitney" will take you to town for shopping.

On the beach look for a boat called NINJA, and the owner Capt. Paul. He takes folks out for wonderful snorkeling and shelling trips. We've gone out with him many times and have not been disappointed.

I think Breezes in Nassau will satisfy you needs for a ladies getaway.

I just returned from exactly this kind of trip - 4 women running away from home! We stayed at Compass Point on New Providence (never even bothered to go into Nassau) and had a terrific time. Very laid back, great service, great food - overall atmosphere was excellent for chilling out and reconnecting with the gal-pals! Did go to a couple of off-property restaurants (Poop Deck, Travellers Rest), but for the most part just enjoyed downtime at Compass Point. The bar at the resort in the evening is social, but low key and in no way a pick-up scene. Highly recommend for a group of women looking to relax.

The Bahamas are in the Caribbean? I thought they were in the Atlantic.
