Need suggestions for Carribean getaway in November?

My husband and I are debating on taking a 9 day cruise to various islands or going to a nice island with beautiful beaches and pristine aqua water. We love good food, would like to snorkel and want warm water and hopefully a place which doesn't get a lot of rain in November. A bit of shopping would be nice but nightlife not all that important. Do love a good cocktail though! We would fly out of Baltimore, MD. And have about 3000 dollars for a minimum of 5 days somewhere. Any suggestions?

good packages including air for me on Priceline.com

Have you considered Turks and Caicos??? I've been there a few times in October & November timeframe and the weather was absolutely perfect...not to mention Grace Bay Beach...a STUNNING white powder sand beach with the bluest turquoise water you've ever seen!!! Some of the best snorkeling, great restaurants, "some" shopping, not too much nightlife...condo style resorts. A few places to check out are:

*Windsong - www.windsongresort.com (there's a reef directly in front of this resort where you can snorkel right from the beach and just a short walk from these others...)
*Turk & Caicos Club - www.turksandcaicosclub.com
*West Bay Club - www.thewestbayclub.com
*The Sands - www.thesandsresort.com
*The Somerset - www.thesomerset.com

For sure check out Turks & Caicos! There are more options than ever for accommodations and Novemebr is still considered low season. Check out www.turksandcaicosreservations.tc or www.vrbo.com for some great deals

@ 3000 out of MD is easy.
Take jetblue to sxm and than a boat to Anguilla cost under $900 round trip.

Stay at la vew, anguilla great house, or patsey seaside. cost for 5 nights max $1500.

wow we still have like $120 a day to eat and drink.
You can spend $80 a day on food and drinks
you can use that extra $40 a day to rent a car or you can take advantage of the Anguilla Access service from the locations above and get around the island for under $20 a day and you still have money to grab a few things to take back home to give the less fortunate that did not come on the trip with you.

You can easily "do" Anguilla in your budget-- look at Anacaona Boutique Hotel. http://www.anacaonahotel.com/
right on gorgeous Mead's Bay. Junior suites go for @$220 during that time period.
