Need Cayman Help

I just booked a trip to the Cayman's (changable). I booked the Hyatt but people tell me the Westin may be better. Even David responded to my message by saying change it NOW. Before I change (I know I'm obsessing) but what exactly is wrong with the Hyatt and why does Frommers and Fodors like it so much.

The main thing I can see wrong with it is it's across the street from the beach. I visited the property a couple times and it's pretty and all but it just isn't ocean front. I guess they like it because it's a "Hyatt."

The Westin is nice as is the Marriott. Both are on the beach. The only other place I wouldn't want to stay is Treasure Island because of the ironrock on the beach and in the water in front of it.

It's true Treasure Island doesn't have a very good beach, but we thought it was a good value for those of us who spent little time in our room. It was
a short walk to the really nice beaches.
We didn't go in the Westin, but if the outside is any indication, it's quite the ritzy joint. The beach in front was beautiful.

Staying in a hotel in GC can be quite expensive. Most people stay in the
condos, which are also on 7 mi beach. Eating all of your meals out is pretty expensive. Ifyou wantsome names of codos, let me know. By the way, we are going on Thurs., Oct. 21. Carol

I am going to Grand Cayman at the end of November and I am staying at Treasure Island Resort. Can you tell me more about the hotel? What is the "ironrock" that is on the beach and in the water?
