If casinos are important, go with Aruba.
You could also check into the Bahamas.
Just my opinion, but traveling on vacation with "4 couples that are extremely picky" is asking for trouble.
No matter where you go, you're not going to make everyone happy.
Best of luck...

Villas at las casitas-el conquistador in puerto rico OR the villas at the Westin in Puerto Rico OR the Hyatt Villas in Dorado.
All have golf, spa, casino, restaurants and beach. El Conq, you take a ferry to teh beach and only 1 golf course but spectacular.
I agreee-4 couples could be deadly.

Aruba most definitely the best! I've been to the Casinos in P.R. and they don't have the beaches or restaurants that Aruba has. We stayed at the Marriott and it was great. Beautiful beach and a casino in the hotel lobby area. Aruba can be windy, but still some of the best beaches anywhere!

Although I like the island of Aruba better, the casino at Atlantis on Nassau is the nicest in the Carribean- the beach was also lovely, but not even close to the blue water and white sand in Aruba. Good luck!
