Need advice on a hotel

Planing to travel to T&C in late April. Trying to decide where to stay. I've been looking at RWI, The Alexandra Resort and Spa, (which I haven't been able to find much info on, so if anyone has any feedback on this hotel that would be great) and Ocean Club Resort. I will be traveling with my boyfriend and we are basically just looking for an affordable and all around positive experience. We'd like a quiet beach, but something that is also close to various activities. Also, does anyone know if any of the hotels rent bicycles? Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

all 3 resorts are fairly equal. Alexandria is actually the only timeshare on the island. (1 building) then the other buildings became condo type units like all the others. All 3 are on the same beach, it's a long beach! (7 miles?0
Ocean Club was packed this week. by packed, i mean Provo (T&C) standards. You can always find a good private/semi-private stretch to yourself! Alexandria is the closest of the 3 to walk to Coral Gardens to snorkel off the beach.
Ocean Club WEST and RWI are walkable to Ports of Call for restaurants, Ocean Club East is on one end of Grace Bay. At Alexandria, you can walk to Saltmills Plaza for restaurants.
No chance of construction at RWI, as Grandview is on one side, Club Med on the other. Ocean Clubs have some construction going on, but you'd never know it on the beach.
Right now i wouldn't bike on these roads, there is paving going on from RWI down to where they are building Seven Stars. (In front of Ports of Call) Ask me next week, I'll tell you if it's done!) it should be, once they get rolling, it doesn't take long, just had to break for the holidays.
Grace Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see.

RWI provides bicycles free of charge to guests.

Blamona, is the beach at RWI quiet? My boyfriend had a bad experience on our trip to Aruba due to the noise from party boats, and watersports offered by the hotels along the strip of beach we were on. So this trip, he is being very particular about noise, specifically from jet skis, boats etc. He wants to be able to relax on the beach without obtrusive interruptions. Thank you!

RWI is next to Club Med. The whole beach is quiet by Caribbean standards, not like Aruba at all. I have seen lots of people here this holiday season, unsually so. There are activities on parts of the beach, such as parasailing, and farther out banana boats. Jet skis are not allowed on Grace Bay, have to go to marina for those.
The quieter stretches are Point Grace, Turks and Caicos Club, and especially quiet is Parrot Cay.
if you like quiet, rent a 4 wheel drive, have a picnic on Malcolm's Beach, you will have it all to yourself, and it's a stunner. Or Sapadilla Bay. you can rent a villa, thet are on quieter stretches, some on Grace Bay, some on Sapadilla Bay, some on Turtle Tail.

You seem to know everything about T and C,are you familiar with Windmill Plantation on Salt Cay? and we are still considering Sibonne,it seems to be the perfect small, low key destination on Provo if we are looking for beachfront without kids and not breaking the bank, any thoughts?

I have not been to Salt Cay. Hopefully I'll do a day trip for whale watching coming up.

Beaches has most of the kids, probably followed by Sands, and Coral Gardens.

The others have small amounts of kids, Grace Bay Club Resort side does not allow children under 12.

Turks and Caicos Club, while they allow kids, is pretty quiet, Renaisance and Le Vele are pretty quiet. sometimes you can find specials on these to bring the cost down.
