Need a warm vacation
 

We have a long weekend coming up. Would like to go somewhere warm and not have to fly all day. We will be flying out of Memphis or Little Rock. Give me some ideas.

For a long weekend you might try Frenchman's Reef in St. Thomas or Caribe Hilton in San Juan P.R.

Lynda, I am from the Memphis area and there is now a direct flight to Jamaica via Northwest. It's only 3 hours long. Check out the Charela Inn in Negril (www.charela.com). Reasonably priced and perfect for a long weekend. Good luck and enjoy!

I think San Juan is too far. I really don't wish to fly all day. Somewhere choser?

Jamaica would be the perfect spot...3 hours, straight shot out of Memphis, and you're there.

Try Super Clubs Grand Lido Braco in Runaway Bay, Jamaica--an adults only resort in a quieter area. Huge pool, very good food including a bakery and jerk meats stand. Long white sand beach and layout of buildings resembles a Jamaican village--highly recommend.
