Natalee Holloway update

Aruban authorities are draining a lake in Aruba for the search in Natalee. Now Joran is saying that he was with her at a lake the night of her disappearance.

Two more witnesses have come forward. One says that he saw Joran and the two brothers at around 2:30 am near the hotel that she was staying at.

Isn't this strange that Joran keeps changing his story.

Also the authorities are to release the information that they have obtained to the FBI.

Thanks!

I had not heard anything in awhile.

Hopefully, there will be results of the duct tape and hair tests soon.

christiegr Jul 27th, 2005 05:49 AM

Diana:
I have been checking the news everyday in hopes for the results of the duct tape.

Also the reward money has been increased to 1 million by an anounomous contributor.

BeachBoi Jul 27th, 2005 06:15 AM

It's a flood pond, a catch basin. There was no water in it until Hurricane Emily came along.Following having it drained, it will be dredged. We might actually never have access to all that has transpired.CNN has reported that the Aruban authorities have "agreed" to release "information" to the FBI.How much and actual content is yet to be seen.A contingent of Aruban "officials" is in Virginia this week sharing "information" with the FBI.

Well where there is smoke there is fire. The Dutch boy has clearly lied at least once and I do hope and pray the truth will finally come out.

Jed Jul 27th, 2005 07:25 AM

I wonder how much money has been spent on this case. Anyone know?

jray Jul 27th, 2005 01:27 PM

The one million dollar reward is payable only on her safe return....

christiegr Jul 27th, 2005 01:31 PM

Hi jray!!How are you?Have not seen you on here lately.:)

jray Jul 27th, 2005 03:03 PM

Been way too busy at work....

Knowing Jul 27th, 2005 03:50 PM

Joran has had many stories. I think the family raised the reward money to 1 million in case she did survive whatever happened to her. I just wish her family could have some closure.

christiegr Jul 27th, 2005 05:20 PM

Knowing:
Yeah..the reward was raised because of an anounmous donation by someone.

christiegr Jul 29th, 2005 05:18 AM

I just read on CNN that the DNA of Natalee did not match the strands of hair found on the duct tape.

I hope that the new witnesses will help solve this case very soon.

This continuing fasination with the plight of this poor girl and her family has taken on voyeuristic traits.

Hardly travel related anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they find the girl alive and all becomes well.

Voyeuristic? I think the interest stems from a human POV. We can all empathize with this and all feel there is a need for justice to be done.

Just read Jon Benet's father, Mr. Ramsey and Natalie's mother are together. They say they are just friends but have been seen getting very close. Only they could know how each other feels, that relationship may be agood thing, no ?

mah1980 Jun 5th, 2007 10:34 AM

That's really strange.

If that is true, I could see wanting to talk with someone who understands what you're going through. But, wouldn't that be such a central focus of the relationship, making it almost impossible to move on?

JAGIRL Jun 5th, 2007 03:41 PM

I saw this on the news this morning.
I thought she was married to a fellow named Twitty? ((?))

fodorsuser1209827 Jun 6th, 2007 07:56 AM

The stress of losing Natalee caused her marriage to Twitty to crumble. I cannot imagine what this poor woman is going through. And now having her personal life braodcast everywhere. Give the lady a break!!!

patsfan1 Jun 6th, 2007 11:51 AM

exactly Bank babe, this topic is not even approriate, let's hope Beth Holloway can find some inner peace and closure.
