Nassau restaurants

We've just booked a trip over turkey week at the Radisson Cable Beach. We're not on a meal plan, and are going over thanksgiving. Can anyone recommend basic restaurants, and maybe a special one where we can be for thanksgiving dinner?

There are a few good restaurants on Nassau, depending on your tastes. The Poop Deck, (2 locations) is really good seafood. Johnny's Canoe's which is 2 hotels down at the Nassau Beach is good food and fun, (mainly Bahamian food, great conch fritters and conch burgers).

For a special dinner, you might try Graycliff's which is downtown Nassau, very close to Government House and I think is still the only 5 star restaurant in the carribean. It is expensive but the food and service are superb. I wanted to lick the bowl after finishing the lobster bisque.

There's also Cafe Matisse, and for a fun dinner there's Conch Fritters, across from the British Colonial.

The Raddison has several good restaurants, and one evening you might want to go over to Paradise Island and try one of the restaurants at The Atlantis or the Ocean Beach Club.

Have a great time.

For a treat, try the Courtyard at the Ocean Club Resort on Paradise island. The OC grounds are incredible for an after dinner stroll and the outdoor dining is very memorable. Service is first class and food and wine selection is excellent.

We really loved the Hall of Waters at Atalantis...definately more expensive, but the views of the awesome aquarium while we were eating was worth it. Reservations needed....

Harald: Everyone knows you are a Moron. You are too stupid to realize that you are being laughed at.

Just a thought...

Attention seeking individuals care not whether the reaction is positive or negative. In Harald's case, he posts and he reads, and he is pleased with any reaction.

It may be difficult for all of us ;-)....but to IGNORE him is to deprive him of the gratification he seeks.

I would suggest that everyone send an eamil to [email protected] and ask that Harrald and his dirvel be deleted yet AGAIN from the board.

One of these days he might learn,,,,,,,sigh,,,,, we can always hope anyway.
