Nassau New Providence. Rent a Car?
 

Should we rent a car? We are staying on a remote-ish far southeast corner of the island. I hear it's a hassle parking/crazy drivers...but taxi-ing everywhere seems a pain too. Anyone have experience renting a car? Thanks

It's not that bad...Bay Street backs up and it takes a while to get through town...just stay left...

I always rent a car when I go to Nassau. Once you get out of Nassau, the traffic and roads are pretty straightforward. If you are going to town, there used to be a parking lot behind the Hilton ($).

carrentals.com from Pindling airport always do it for freedom and flexibility when staying in more remote areas of New Providence island.Theft risk in some areas so ins/cover wise.

Thank you all for comments. We will be renting a car. My wife will have to drive though since last time we had a car in left side country I hit 3 curbs the first day.
