Nassau Beach Recommendation
Leaving in 72 hours--need your beach recommendation on Nassau. Prefer quiet location with good beach for sunning/swimming/snorkeling. Want to avoid loud music and obnoxious 'beach toys'. Beach chairs/floats and a bar are a plus but not required.
Thanks for your input!

we're coming off a cruise ship, but hate the cattle call shore trips!

How was your trip to Nassau? What do you recommend for a day-trip from a cruise ship?
I am leaving in 48 hours for a 1-day port in Nassau on Carnival.
Thanks!

THere are some nice beach areas on Nassau, like Paradise Island, and you can take a water taxi over from the dock area and walk to a stretch of beach that you like.

There are no chairs so bring a towel with you, but you will find lots of places for a drink, or fill a thermos and bring that along as well.

The further out you walk on Paradise Island beach, the less people you will encounter.

Another option would be Cable Beach, but it will probably be loaded with people, again walk a bit to a more remote stretch.

Check out the Orange Hill Inn west of Nassau. Walk down a driveway to the beach area. Not upscale, but rustic with pub, and very comfortable with no crowds. Family owned and extremely friendly. Robert
