Mother/Daughter Vacation

Jump to last reply

My mom, my sister, and I are looking to go on a girls trip to an all inclusive Caribbean resort to celebrate our 50th, 30th, and 21st birthdays. We're leaning towards Punta Cana (and surrounding) because it seems like there are a lot of nice, affordable options.

We're looking to find something all-inclusive, with a good variety of amenities/activities, and dining options. The availability of a spa plus fitness classes would be great, but not a deal breaker. We'd like our stay to be under $1,000 per person (not including airfare).

We're leaning towards an adults-only resort since we won't be with any children, but at the same time, don't want to end up at a couples resort, since we are a family! We're not exactly "partiers", but we want to have fun at night and relax during the day. We're looking at the last week in May or the first week in June and thinking of staying between 7-10 days.

Right now, our front-runners are Catalonia Royal Bavaro and Alsol Luxury Village. Both seem to have great reviews and are relatively affordable.

We'd also consider another destination including: Turks and Caicos, Grand Cayman, Anguilla, Bahamas, St. Lucia.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!
