Most romantic place to stay on Grand Cayman Island

Can anyone tell me the most romantic place to stay on Grand Cayman Island?

Looking for a place that has a waterfall in the swimming pool.

From what I've read, it is not very upscale (compared to Aruba).

Which is the best place that has:

1) upscale accomodation
2) waterfalls in swimming pool
3) right on the beach

1) There are no upscale accomodations

2) no resorts or condos with waterfalls

3) Pretty much they are all on the beach

I have to disagree with Tiffany.

1) Not sure where she stayed, but there are many upscale accomodations. Tiffany must not of looked very hard. For upscale hotel, try the Westin.
2) Treasure Island has 2 pools that have small waterfalls in them, so I'm sure they're not the only one's on the island that have this.
3) There are many resorts that are located across the street from the beach, so be careful where you book, and be sure to ask this question if this is a major concern.

The best deal on the island is to get a condo. There are tons of choices from moderate to upscale. I say, why pay the high prices of the Westin, when for the same amount you can easily get a condo that has a lot more room than a hotel will provide.

No offense Tiffany, but your information was untrue. Not trying to be a jerk at all, just presenting the facts.

Westin can qualify (barely) on some levels as upscale, but it's certainly not anything special.
The rooms are quite basic, especially for the rates they charge.
There are no luxurious hotels on GC.
The Ritz will be the first.
Lots of places that are good, but nothing that even makes a top 75 in the Caribbean list, as far as accommodations.
This is one thing that really bugs me about GC.

Susan-
GC is very clean and very safe, but the hotels are not upscale - and that includes the Westin. The rooms are just very basic, although it is on a nice beach. If romance is what you want, you may want to continue looking. You might be happier doing a vacation elsewhere.
