Mosquitos and no see ums - Bermuda

Are there many of these on Bermuda (say, in April or May). I usually end up with tons of bug bites in the Caribbean; wondering if I will have the same issues if we go to Bermuda.

I think you will love Bermuda, OTC. I have never had a problem with mosquitos or other bug bites during my spring or fall visits to Bermuda. Travel safely. Bermuda is another world.

We've been to many Bahamian and Caribbean islands but due to health problems, am concerned about traveling to a place that won't have good emergency care available if needed. Do you know what the medical facilities on Bermuda are like? (We buy med evac. insurance)

This is a concern of mine also. Bermuda has an actual hospital. Other places that we have traveled to such as Cat Island, the Abacos, and St. John were limited to clinics.

As Cmcfong stated, mosquitos were never an issue with us in Bermuda in June and October.

One of my friends was injured in an accident in Bermuda. We were both quite impressed with the quality of care she received at King George's Hospital there. I think you would like Bermuda a great deal, it is very lovely.
