Melia vs. Breezes? Nassau, Bahamas

Melia vs. Breezes? Nassau, Bahamas
My husband and I are looking to take a 4-night trip to the Caribbean in a few months and have come across two all-inclusive resorts that are very reasonably priced Melia Resort (not The Level) and Breezes Resort.
Does anyone have experience with either (preferably both) and can recommend one over the other?
Also, I've read that Melia had some construction / remodeling going on ... Does anyone know if that's complete?

In August Meliα had tons of construction, scaffolding, really had a run down type look. Dont know if it improved since August.*
Both on same beach walkable to each other*
Breezes is right next to the stunning Baha Mar.*
Id pick Breezes.*
