I wouldn't see why not. But I'm not sure why you would to. Too many beaches on St. Thomas that are much better then the one at Frenchmens.

Any other suggestions would be welcome.
It will be the first day of our cruise and want to relax andnot run all over. We have been to St Thomas before stayed at the Reef as well as visited Megans Bay was not very impressed. Any other beaches ???
We also have been to St John several times and plan to stay there again in the future but not looking for a day trip there.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mel

Go to either Coki, Sapphire or Secret Harbour. These beaches all offer decent snorkeling. Coki does get busy but its still a fun atmosphere for the day. But if snorkeling is not important to you then I guess the Reef is fine.

Hi, Mels!
Yes, you can go to the Marriott and use their beach. Alot of cruise ship passengers are there due to the proximity (5 min.) of the Marriott from the port. They also have waitresses servicing the beach for drinks/food.
Coki and Sapphire are really great, also. If your ship is in port on Sunday, Sapphire has a band that plays in the afternoon.
Enjoy!
