My husband and I did not have the all- inclusive plan at the Jamaica Inn which worked very well for us. We usually had appetizers or salad, the entree and shared a dessert. Unless you like to eat 5 course meals every night, and you drink heavily, you will come out paying less. The portions are geared for European (read, not big) appetites, but it was plenty for us. The drinks are the real killer. The planter punches(their signature drink) are around $14 once the obligatory gratuity is added. Wine is also expensive. There are other restaurants nearby and you may not feel like having a formal dinner every night. The food is very good but not extraordinary. The lunches, I think, are the best. Get one of the appetizers, three tempera cocktail shrimp with guacamole, as a lunch entree or their Jamaican jerk trio, fish, pork, and chicken, if I remember correctly. Both are really good.
