March 2007 trip for 6-8 friends - want to rent a villa
My first time to Anguilla. Sounds lovely. Planning a get-away for 6-8 friends. Relaxing, eating, beach time in a picturesque villa near the beach/bay. Any recommendations? Thanks!

How many bedrooms do you need? We stayed at Three Dolphins last year and it was beautiful. The beach was very tiny and the water had sea urchins ( might be seasonal, I don't know ). The villa was very spacious and had 5 bedrooms and a great pool area. If you rent a car, you can drive yourself to the really great beaches, like Shoal Bay East. Anguilla is a great place!!!!

Spyglass is beautiful -- sits up high with views of Sandy Ground (the port) and St. Martin. No beach anywhere nearby, although Anguilla is small. There are some large villas very close to Shoal Bay East and Zenaida is close to Sandy Hill. Have you done a search at www.mycaribbean.com? You can specify the number of bedrooms before your search -- it will probably turn up some reasonable alternatives.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are booked at the SpyGlass Villa for 5 nights. We plan on renting a car for getting around to the various beaches and the grocery. Does anyone recommend a fun beach pub for lunch/afternoon drinks. We'd love a friendly bartender and a fun atmosphere.
