MAP - Southampton Princess
 

We will be staying at the Southampton Princess soon and are considering the MAP. We've never done this before and are kind of clueless about it. Can you go to any of the restuarants at the hotel and order anything and everything you like? Can you go to any restaurants at other hotels? <BR> <BR>Any information on how the MAP works would be appreciated.

We did the MAP a few years ago and it suited us perfectly. There are a variety of restuarants there and at the 2 more upscale ones we were allowed $35. per person-if more it was billed to you. That was in the Newport Room and the Waterlot Inn. I can't remember if that included the eateries at the Hamilton Princess. I'll pick my husbands brain when he gets home and if he remembers more i'll post again! Have a great trip!

Thanks for the reply. As a follow up, I have heard that with some MAP programs you can eat at some restaurants in the city, getting a credit (probably $35 like you got at the upscale places). Do you know if that is part of the MAP plan at the Southampton? Thanks again!
