malcolm road beach. WHAT?

i have just read ,in a post, that there is construction of some sort (perhaps a resort?? eek!!) at malcolm road beach. does anybody (Howard) know anything about this? does this mean the road is now passable all the way out? will part of this area now be closed to the public? is there is fact going to be a resort? would love any info at all.

The beach is still accessible but a rather large Aman Resort is being built adjacent to it. To be honest I have never understood the attraction of Malcolm Roads beach. There are much nicer secluded spots on Grace Bay. And if you can find your way to Osprey Rock you won't be disappointed!

Road has always been passable with appropriate vehicles, thats the fun of Malcom Beach.

FRIENDS JUST RETURNED FROM PROVO AND WERE TOLD THAT MALCOLM BEACH WAS CLOSED BECAUSE OF CONSTRUCTION. I READ THAT THE RESORT WAS SOME DISTANCE FROM THE BEACH AT NORTHWEST POINT.
ANY RECENT SCOOP FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN THERE RECENTLY?
