kelly, we flew into Tortola and then ferried over to Virgin Gorda. We opted to use the North Sound Express based on our arrival time on Tortola and their departure time from VG. Everything was fine but a little behind schedule, so I would actually probably opt for the flight directly to VG in the future. Since we were dependent on the ferry schedules we had to cool our heels for a total of about 4 hours on Tortola, coming and going. Which admittedly wasn't bad since we spent the bulk of that time over at Trellis Bay. Leaving VG on North Sound Express, we went from Spanish Town to Leverick Bay to Bitter End Yacht Club before heading back to Beef Island, so it felt like about an hour or so on the ferry.

I absolutely agree about stopping by Flying Iguana! It might have been our favorite place for casual dining on the island--great views, fun atmosphere, and really great food & drinks.
