"Luxury"villa in Negril? RENTER BEWARE!
I stayed at Llantrissant Beachcliff Villa in Negril over the New Years holiday week (7 nights) and the outside landscaping was just as the pictures advertised. HOWEVER, there was NO WORKING HOT WATER for our ENTIRE SEVEN DAY stay! The interior of the property is VERY dated due to the fact that the physical structure is extremely old, but to have PVC plastic piping for hot water servicing a structure of this size that kept bursting at the joints? That is NOT "luxury" in this day and age. We took nothing but cold showers and got all the excuses and "sorry for the inconvenience" from the property owner and his property manager all week long. For 7 grown adults this was very challenging/frustrating, ESPECIALLY when we needed to 'dress up' (i.e for New Years Eve celebrations.) And the owner has absolutely stonewalled my repeated requests for compensation for this terrible inconvenience. I HATE leaving these kinds of reviews but have no choice after 5 months of waiting. BUYER BEWARE!
