low-season

does anyone know if the end of April is considered the low season?? We are travelling to Provo then and want to make sure that a couple of weeks earlier or later could be cheaper--
Thank you

"Low Season" varies from resort to resort. Some actually have 3 diffent pricing structures (High Season, Shoulder Season and Low Season). Prices tend to drop after Easter and are lowest in the summer months. Best if you check with your hotel for their current rate schedule.

A quick check on google.com for "turks and caicos low season" shows May 1st as being the first date of low season...maybe you can change your dates?

Sunnyboy is correct.
It varies by resort, not island.
Most do drop their prices after Easter as that is still a big travel time for Americans with the extra day off.
Check the resorts you are interested in staying at for accurate info.

Check with your travel agent as they will have the cut off dates for the hotels.

I used to sell wholesale Caribbean and "low" season was technically April 15-Dec 15 excluding all holidays, Memorial, July 4, Labor day, Thanksgiving. The cheapest times we always had space for were late april, early may, August, Sept, Oct.
