Lost -- please advise
HI there!
I am planning a trip to the Virgin Islands and I have no clue how to plan this. We are in our 40s and are looking for a nice relaxing vacation -- hoping to find some seclusion somewhere -- really need to unwind. I have nver been and have no clue where to stay and what to do. We are planning on leaving in a week -- for a week. Seriously picturing a quiet beach with a Margarita -- good food -- relaxing and romantic. Thanks for any suggestions you can provide. |
look at vinow.com & usvi.net
tell us your budget? would you consider a villa - as most accomodations on st. john are villas. on st. thomas for quiet you might like like secret harbour beach resort. |
Thanks for your reply. We are planning on staying 5 nights and would like to keep it around 150 a night if possible. But don't want to stay in a dump. Hoping there will be decent food nearby and maybe we'll get some snorkling in.
Thanks. |
No contest - pick a place on St. John. By far the most gorgeous island down there and with a much safer feel about it. Pay the price and go - you will be glad that you did.

Former Virgin Island resident here..2007/2008..If you just want to lay by the beach and enjoy a nice beach bar/restaurant look into Bolongo Beach Resort.St Thomas..well within your budget and very nice and on the beach..If you want to explore the islands..go to ST John..2/3 national park..many great sites and beaches..ck with St John Properties for villa/condos..get A/c in August..and rent a jeep..

I am in my 40's and my wife and I love St Croix. Often sit on the beach all day without being disturbed and has great restaurants.
Whatever you choose I hope you have a nice time. |
