Los Cabos or Riviera Maya?

Can anyone give insight into these two Mexican locations? Looking for sandy beach, blue/turquoise/clear water, good food and some nightlife.

I love Cabos, but it doesn't have the clear/turqouise water. Cabos has better food, both have great nightlife.

Riviera Maya has beautiful beaches, turquoise clear water and great snorkelling. Playa del Carmen is a very pleasant small town right on the water with lots and lots of places to eat. We haven't stayed in Los Cabos, mainly because it is much farther north and in Jan. Feb. and March the temperatures are considerably lower than the MR.

Have been to both many times. For what you're looking for, it's RM.

Ebony,
Have you also checked out the Latin America forum? Mexico is listed there so you may find additional useful info there.
