Looking for Sandals Whitehouse Trip Report
OK SWH has been open for one week and I'm looking for reviews because I am booked for 4/8-4/15 and I'm considering switching to Sandals Negril if the resort does not meet travelers' expectations. Good news anyone???

My wife and I are suppose to go to Sandals Whitehouse 2/28/ thru 3/6 but today I found out that we received the boot. They are going to send us up to Dunns River and didn't even ask us if we would like to do that. Did you have any thing like this happen to you?

I met folks last year at a restaurant last year in Ochi that were bumped from Duuns to Beaches Ocho Rios, which is a major drop in quality. There were 2 couples, one on their honeymoon. They were furious. I think this is not unusual for Sandals.

i was just ther jan. 31/05 thru feb. 7 but i was next store at hedonism II after a bad experience at breezes- montego bay. I walked the beaches at sandals and it was great. even got pics of sandals if you want to view. in my opionon, sandals looked like a better hotel. all kinds of water sports, a beach bistro at night with sunset dinners for two. it was 82 all 7 days no rain. food was great too and the people we talked to that were staying at sandals raved. hope this helps. reply back if want to see pics.

Here's how it's affecting its neighbors
(from an e-mail received this morning):
"New Hotel is a nightmare. They control everything the guests do -- and it seems guests who want to leave the hotel almost literally have to sneak out the back way around the beach. Guests cannot even request a driver that they may have used befroe. The hotel is marking up everything. Meanwhile, their boats are at the reef outside our door every day. It's like a noisy party cruiseship has suddenly barged into the bay."
