Looking for Marathon or Running Event Spring 2009
 

Hi all we were trying to find a running event in the carribean (Jamaica, Bahamas, Cayman ..any island) to schedule a little vacation around this year. I search online and found very little information on half/full marathons or even 5 and 10K races on the islands. Can any one recommend a re-occuring race/event coming up in the March/April/May time frame?

8 Tuff Miles on St. John is at the end of February. Sounds like it's too early this year, but maybe think about it for the future.

Thanks much for the suggestions. The Triathalon sounds great. We would def. be beginners and I am assuming the bikes would be available to rent. I will look in to it via the website.

Race is run in early December each year in Negril. Full and half marathons. Pretty popular run from what I understand.

There is a marathon in Cayman in early December:

There is a marathon on Aruba. Either April 30 or May 1. One is Labor Day and one is the Queen's Birthday.
