Looking for all-inclusive with nightlife on sight
I am looking for an all-inclusive resort for a spring trip. The catch is, there has to be some nightlife on the resort and no children preferred.
This will be a trip for 3 couples ranging in age from 28-34. We want a nice beach for snorkeling and relaing during the day (swim up bar preferred) and nightlife, disco or casino for late nights. Do not want to do Jamaica or Bahamas as have been to both several times otherwise we are open to anywhere in the caribbean or Cancun/Cozumel area.
I have been to AI 3 times before. Did Sandals Negril loved it for a "romatic getaway" but lacking in nightlife that woudl be good for fun active group (guess all those honeymooners hit the bed early . . ) Went to Sunset Beach Resort AI in Montego Bay last year. It was a nice moderate resort good swim up bar and beach but too many kiddies and not a lot of "nightlife" you basically had to leave the resort and go into town to go out dancing and to bars. Did Cancun Palace as well. It was okay beach was nice but family oriented and "vegas style shows" which ended at 11 pm and not a lot to do after that.
We are not the total party Hedonism types, but just want an adult getaway (leaving kids at home) with food drink, and fun included. guys like to gamble girls like to dance the night away. I am at a loss to find the right balance and we require AI. Anyone have ideas?

We were at secret's last year - the rooms are great and the food is execellent. It is nice to have premium liquor available to you at no extra charge. The spa was wonderful.
The pool and swim up bar were VERY busy. The beach is nice, but the water is rough...there was a red or yellow flag up all week so you could not venture very far out into the water. That put a damper on water sports as well. however, you could walk forever in either direction on the beach itself.
We saw quite a few small groups travelling together in the age range you specified. There were shows nightly - the typical carribean resort fare - and disco scene was busy each night.

We loved Secrets. The beach was wonderful. They had yellow flags out, but we were in the ocean every day. If you want to take advantage of the free half hour of horseback riding, sign up right away. The times fill up quickly.
