Re: Silver Rock -- we were at the beach in that area and it is rough -- windsurfing type conditions. It's kind of out of the way from everything. If you have no car, you will need to rely on taxi's. It's probably a 15 minute drive to The Gap (depending upon traffic).

If you cannot change your reservation, please write me directly upon your return and tell me how you made out.

Once again than you. One more quick question. DO you suggest renting a car for a few days since I am so far out of the way? OR would you suggest just taking the hotel shuttle bus or taxis?

Since you are so far out of the way, a car would definitely be a big help. That way you could explore all over on your own. Depending upon a shuttle or bus may not be to practical where Silver Sands is.
