Haven't stayed there myself, but I've heard good things about Captain Don's Habitat for many years. Captain Don is a legend in his own time and this is a fabulous, laid back place to stay, especially if you are a diver.

We stayed at Belafonte Chateau de la Mer; a condo resort located less than one mile from the airport and a couple of miles from town (Kralendyke). Small complex with studio, one and two bedroom, fully furnished units. Oceanfront with private pier.....no swimming pool, but who needs one in Bonaire? Sjoerd, the manager, is very friendly and helpful.....even picked us up at the airport on a Saturday night! Info at bellafontebonaire.com

We stayed at Capt Don's, which was quite nice. I believe that we had the 'Deluxe Ocean view', but there are other varieties of rooms. I would recommend it.

When you return, please return to this thread and tell us where you stayed and how it was. Thanks. ((F))

We stayed at Harbour Village Beach Resort and loved it. Nice white sand beach, good shore snorkeling, nice pool. The food was consistently good, but not great. More of a resort than some of the other places on Bonaire, which are more dive-oriented.
