Late June travel to the Caribbean - looking for suggestions

We are looking to go somewhere in the Caribbean for a week at the end of June - July 4th wknd. We are a young couple and are looking to relax on the beach as well as travel around a bit. One of my concerns is to go somewhere where it won't be unbearably hot this time of year. All suggestions about where to go and where to stay are much appreciated. Thanks!

I would recommend Providenciales (Provo) in the Turks and Caicos. Laid back quiet island--not touristy. Not a lot of night life but great beach and restaurants. Check out www.wherewhenhow.com the on line magazine of the Turks and Caicos and www.adamsnames.tc--click on T&C and links for links to all sorts of info. Don't know what you want to spend but Coral Gardens (www.coralgardens.com) is very nice. Great reef right off the beach. We are headed there for the 14 th time 3 June. If you need further info feel free to E-mail [email protected]

As far as going somewhere not unbearably hot, that would be a perfect time to go to Bermuda. There is alot on this forum under Bermuda for places to stay, but off the top of my head I would recommend The Reefs, Pompano Beach, Ariel Sands or Cambridge Beaches.

Many thanks for all the replies! Our budget is about $1000-$1200 pp for 7 days for an all-inclusive or less if its not. Will that work for the places recommended? I know Bermuda tends to be on the expensive side, doesn't it? Thanks again!
