LaSource, Grenada visit & snorkeling?
We are returning to LaSource in Grenada this year, and would appreciate any tips and advice. Would especially like to hear from those of you who have taken day trips that you would recommend. We are interested in the Grenadines Fly/Sail Cruise, but which is better for snorkeling the Grenadines trip or Carriacou or elsewhere? We appreciate your comments.
Thanks. B_and_B |
I had a great vacation with my mother at LaSource in Grenada. I spent a lot of time scuba diving with the LaSource group. We did go on one catamaran sail and snorkle trip. The trip coordinator at LaSource organized it (I think it was Carib Cats), that was only a half day. The docks for boarding the boats in George town can be very rustic. I did not go to Carriacou. I heard from people I went diving with that the diving was great but the seas were pretty rough. Have a great trip CEF

The all day trip in the Grenadines on the Scaramouche is not to be missed. You fly to Union Island from Grenada and are taken directly to the restored vessel, Scaramouche where you are served a delicious breakfast. You then sail to three different islands where you can snorkel. Lunch is served aboard, and you sail through the Grenadines and eventually you are taken back to Union Island to your waiting plane. Take a camera for great air shots over the Grenadines. The snorkeling is the best I've seen.

Hi Sandcrab,
Are you the moderator from the discussion board at Grenada Explorer? If so, I posted some questions there today. Great site - I'll watch there for replies. B&B B&B |
