Las Terrenas DR with 12 year old
 

We are travelling with our 12 year old grandson in March and staying on Playa Ballanas for 2 weeks. Are there day trips you might recommend that would be of interest to our grandson? Is there a local baseball team, caves to explore, nature hikes in addition to the Lemon waterfalls? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
