Large Family Vacation-Where to go?

Hello, All!
We are looking for advice on anywhere to stay in the Caribbean that will accommodate a family of nine--Mom and Dad in their seventies, five adults, an eighteen year-old girl, and a twelve year-old boy. We were considering renting a villa/house, but would prefer a resort where the "kids" would have easy access to pools and such...any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!

If by any chance you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful laid back kind of place (no high rises, no casinos, little shopping but a great place to enjoy being together) go to www.abacovacations.com then click on "Green Turtle Cay" and then "Villa Pasha". I have been to GTC and loved it- had friends who took a large family such as yours to that villa and it was perfect for them. Just a thought....

PS A much more expensive suggestion (but it has a pool) would be the same Abaco Vacations website then click on "Elbow Cay' and look at the list of houses for a home called "Paradise".
Most of the places in the Abacos (small resorts or hotels) that have pools welcome you if you buy lunch, drinks, etc. so there are places on GTC and Elbow where you can do that. Bicycles are fun on both islands, too, for adventuring. If you can drive a boat, by all means rent one in either place for some really fun adventures.

Well, we are now considering either a villa in Puerto Rico or a resort on Paradise Island...Which one? We've already decided the Atlantis is probably too pricey...any other recommendations for Paradise Island?

Thanks!
Andrea

Have you considered an all inclusive reswort. With all those people to feed it might be a better deal. The Riviera Maya Mexico (right outside Cancun) has loads of family friendly resort
Check out the Apple Vacations and Funjet sites.
