La Tapa on St. John
 

Hello All -- We are heading to St. John in about 10 days and wanted to know if La Tapa is open (please say "yes"!). Last year when we were there around this time, they had been closed. Thank you all for your replies!

Check out St John Spice's website. stjohnspice.com for a list of all of the restaurant closings. It is a link near the bottom of the page. I'm sorry to tell you that it says it La tapa will be closed July 30th til around Sept 15th.

Oh poop!!! So incredibly disappointed! I guess we're going to have to start going much earlier or much later... :((

Thanks so much Publisher. This is actually our 6th year going down to St. John. It's one of our favorite places to visit in the world! I have to admit, though, that I had absolutely no idea that Panini Beach had spectacular Italian food. However, living in NYC, we have our share of great Italian. I guess we'll have to drown our sorrow's in the excellent tuna at Stone Terrace!
