Kids Trip-Wyndam or Ritz/Montego

I am taking my 4 and 8 year old daughters maybe to Wyndam or Ritz, Montego Bay. I read beach isn't great at Wyndam. I like the price though and the pool/kids club. Prefer to go to a reasonably priced place..I think the Ritz would be great but is it worth the extra $$$. Am traveling only the three of us. At Wyndam, is it far to walk to the beach/pool from the rooms??? that would not be desirable. I have only a few choices because I need a direct flight to Atlanta after this trip.?????

Wyndham is nice, lots of kids there, the beach is ok, that is why the prices are good, consider the jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios, i send more clients there and they seem very happy

I have stayed at both hotel. The Ritz is fantastic but I'm not sure it is for kids. The pool is nice but small, this is real a resort hotel for adults. The
Wyndham has that great pool area but the service is not fast at all. If you are going for the kids do the Wyndham, if you are going for your pleasure go to the Ritz.
You may want to look into the Holiday Inn Sunspree, it is very nice now, great beach, kids programs and fun pool area. Not a water slide but fun and active.
The only problem with the Jamaica Grand is that is it an hour or so from the airport, kids aren't too fond of that after a long flight. If you are only going for 3 or 4 nights I don't think that the trip is worth it.
We went to the Holiday Inn Sunspree with our 10 yr. old and had a great time. Great price and lots of things for the kids. There had to be 80 kids there when we went and a great kids program. Beach is shallow which makes it perfect for the young ones. Lots of activities by the pool so that you can relax while they are having fun. Short 10 min. from airport.

Kim, I thinking of going to Holiday Inn Sunspree traveling with 9 year old and husband. Was originally going to go to mexico but all of the site are turning me off. Were most of the people from U.S. that were staying there? What were the rooms like. All inclusive or not. Any nightlife? Did they have babysitting at nite?
