Kid Friendly Hotel - Grace Bay

I'm traveling with another couple and a total of 3 children (10,11,12). We would get 2 separate rooms. I need help trying to decide between: Windsong, Royal West Indies, Ocean Club Resort (east) and West Bay Club. We're planning on going for 7-8 nights in August 2016. Ideally, we'd like to have a nice large pool, happy hour, on the beach, kids activities/kids club and within walking distance to grocery store/stores/restaurants. I'm not crazy about having to get a rental car as we're content just relaxing at the beach/pool but not sure if better financially to just get a car instead of a cab if we're not going to be roaming around the island. Can anyone help guide me which of these hotels are close to meeting my needs? Thanks in advance for your help!

Ocean Club West is within walking distance of the grocery store and some restaurants. It has two big pools. Not sure about the kids club stuff because we've never stayed there.

West Bay Club is more upscale, but the pool is more of a giant bathtub. It's not within walking distance of much- a few restaurants, Coral Gardens, and in the opposite direction, The Gansevoort Hotel.

Windsong is very nice, but has a stretch of beach that disappears with the tides. Not very close to many restaurants, etc, other than SOMEWHERE CAFE ( Mexican) and in front of COral Gardens for snorkeling. Also has small pool.

For any of these, a car would be a good idea. Taxis are insanely expensive ( think up to $15 per person round trip to most places on the island).

Go with Grace Bay Rentals. There isn't much traffic on the roads, so it's easy to drive. Grace Bay will drop off/pick up car from your hotel.

Catch 22s--places with happy hours require transportation, restuarants are in clumps, no 1 place fits all

Seven Stars is the most central located to shops, some restaurants, supermarket. Happy hours and off beach snorkel would still require a car, the only one with a kids club (Other than Grace Bay Club and Beaches, but you didn't mention any of them)

windsong is close to Somewhere that has happy hours, but you need a car for everything else

West Bay Club is close to Somewhere, and also close to Thursday night Fish Fry (do not miss! so much fun) Also need a car for everything else

RWI is on the edge of needing a car, it's close to the casino and has dark spots at night so need car for going back after dinner

Ocean Club West is closer to the middle of the hub, you can walk in 1 direction at night, I wouldn't go to the other

But the best restaurants (Coco Bistro, Bay Bistro, even Tiki Hut or fish fry) sooner or later require car (or more expensive taxi) for at least part of your trip
