I am trying to remember what faiths comments were on the jamaica oh my god thread.

She had said, as I recall that she too had heard many neg. comments about Jamaica but after looking into it realized many of these comments were based on what people had heard and that the postitive comments came from those who had actually been there. Thats the point I was trying to make to you, to not listen to such conjecture only but also to those who have seen the other side. Also, see the post about the Carib. T and L readers poll. You may be surprised. I'll hoist a Red Stripe to getting off on a better foot here. Cheers!

am wondering why they had a problem with her post, i believe i responded positively to what i thought were her well thought out comments.

Thank you guys !!! I actually re-wrote my post almost word for word . I really appreciate the interest in its deletion , I am curious as well .... You had responded positively P.G. , a little stange I find . My intention was to help those who are perhaps a bit confused , overwhelmed, and scared like I was , and we truly had a wonderful time . Should I repost on original thread .... Faith

Willem: I responded positively because my opinions can be swayed by dialogue .If a position i hold is shown to me to be too severe or based on incomplete info i am capable of reavualuating my previously position.

Hmmmm.... Just realized I can not post on that thread anymore , I understand a previous statement Larry . I do not want to stir up things in the least , not my style should I try to repost it .... This site has helped me so much , it really helped me get things in perspective , I wanted to do the same for someone else . I was really a nervous wreck , searching for info. everywhere , and our vacation was incredible . Faith

LOL .P.G. I was happy when you responded positively to me ,( the strange I think )comment a couple of posts up was about the deletion itself !!! Not You . As I said elsewhere sites like this are to inform and help , with both negative and positive in consideration . It helped me so much . Very suprided why my well intended words were deleted . It appears Fodors has ended threads by removing the reply option Faith. I don't get it. If you don't like the thread them remove it but instead they let it stand w/o providing reply options. Who is editing these days?
