Jacaranda Villa or Others - Barbados - Please help!
 

Hi! I am planning a trip to Barbados and would like to know if anyone has stayed at the Jacaranda Villa or others. I am having a tough time finding any information on villas outside of their own rental listing. I am particularly interested in the safety of the villa and the surrounding areas. I also have curious to know if the pictures on the rental listings are accurate depictions.

Any information would be appreciated!

Yes, I'm aware that it's not beachfront. I'm not entirely sure how far it is from the beach though. Have you stayed there?

I'm also finding little information on this particular villa online, and as can be expected all the photos of it look great. The Gibbs Glades area on the West Coast is a nice residential area, I'm not sure how far this particular Villa is from the beach but I'm happy to do a drive around tomorrow when I go down to Mullins, to see how far or close it is and let you know.

That is very nice of you bdshotsauce! I couldn't find any information on this villa, so I wound up booking at Royal Westmoreland. Is the beach at Mullin's Bay nice. I believe we have use of the beach club there.

Okay I finally found Jacaranda Villa,

Jacaranda Villa is in a lovely area on the West Coast in Gibbs, only 2 minutes walk away from Gibbs Beach and a few minutes drvie or about 7 minutes walk to Mullins Beach. The area is safe but still use caution when or if walking at night. The general surroundings are beautifully landscaped and very clean and the neighbourhood is exclusive in keeping with the West Coast.

From looking around it is a really nice place to stay.

@ Reviewer 2000, I try to help when I can plus the photos online looked really inviting. The Beach at Mullins Bay is really nicest along the west coast for swimming, much of the sand has been eroded, but if you hadn't seen the beach before that you'd still appreciate its distictively paradise feel.
