Isle De France or Guanahani?

Both seem like special places. This what we are looking for:
1. Luxury
2. Beach and water like bathtub
3. Service
4. Location not to far from local rest.
5. Grounds
Are we asking for to much? Both sound like they may be close to what we are looking for?

isle de france, definitely

although at isle de france, do you mean calm like a tub or warm? both would be warm guanahanis water is much calmer. isle de france is a nicer beach, better service, food, more luxurious.

John, you are welcome :), the water is beautiful, but it can be rough, it is pretty clear though, it is such a beautiful beach.

Also, La Langouste which is a wonderful restaurant is very close to IDF, it is a great place. You can chose your own lobster...

MIM, I tried to book a room for April 2007 at this beautiful hotel but was unable. Seems that they hold all rooms for returning guest only and if they have an openning then I could book. Wish I had been there before?? I guess I shouldn't have fell in love to so quickly??

John, I am sorry to hear that. I am not surprised though. Are you totally sold on St Barths, there are other places you could go :)
But if you want St Barths, did you try Eden Rock, right now it is very much under construction, but it will be fantastic once its done. All things considered you could always try Guanahani. It really is nice.
