I guess it depends on what "you" find pretty....some like a vast expanse of white sand with crystaline, turquoise waters that stretch on forever(most would), others(like myself) prefer smaller, cove beaches backed by lush green vegetation & hills(a la Robinson Crusoe).

I've been to Turks & Caicos, the Cayman Islands, St. John, Tortola, and Akumal (Riviera Maya) & Cozumel in Mexico.
For me, the whole package of variety of beaches and beautiful scenery points to St. John.
For the quality of just the beach, and not the scenery near the beach, that would be Grace Bay in Turks & Caicos. But, Turks & Caicos isn't nearly as pretty as St. John.

Grace Bay T&C, St John, Grand Cayman 7 Mile and Tulum North Beach are my faves so far....
I love to snorkel so T&C and Grand Cayman win for me although we didn't snorkel in St John [only there for a day from ST Thomas] I hear it is excellent. Tulum and Akumal snorkeling not as good but beach in Tulum especially is totally unspoiled and stunning. And the Mayan Riviera area has ruins and cenotes [underground cave like freshwater rivers] that are super cool to snorkel. [http://www.travelrm.com/travel-tips/what-is-a-cenote]

Anguilla-the sand is powder white and talcum soft, the water is 4 or 5 shades of blue. Even when it's crowded, there's plenty of open space. And if the surf is not to your specifications, a short drive will bring you to another gorgeous beach where the water will be perfectly wavy or flat as glass quality you want. plus there are about 80 restaurants and bars of varying price but all superb quality, and the people are lovely!

oh that's easy...the one I'm on at the moment! LOL...but seriously, it's very subjective. I tend to favor the palm fringed, white sand, blue water types...but I've been known to have fun at the jersey shore!!!
