Terrific! Just the kind of detail I'm looking for-- thanks!

Red_Stripe,
As others above rec, you should really look into Peter Island Resort. It's available via miles through AAvacations.com

Peter Island looks very nice, it's just a tad cheaper than Caneel. Plus PI includes 3 meals a day (I think). Does anyone know how the 3 meals a day thing works? Is there an assigned resturant and time for each meal? Or can you eat wherever and whenever you want? How about tips? Do you pay tips for your meals even though they are "free"? Also I don't believe beverages are included. If someone who has been to PI can explain how the meal plan works there, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Red_Stripe: There are 2 restaurants on Peter Island. You can have breakfast only at one, lunch only at the other, and dinner at both. We went low season, dinner was NOT offered at both restaurants on the SAME days. Not sure if that's different in high season.
We did tip.
Do a search for my screenname and you will find my trip report with photos from 9/29-10/3/04. Some of your questions were asked by others and I answered them.
I think there are 2 or 3 other Peter Island trip reports with photos on this board so do a search for Peter Island and you should find them.
Good luck.
