Is Aruba for Singles and Couples?
Trying to plan a trip in January to the Carribean. It will be me and my husband and 2 single early 30th's women. They have heard Aruba is for couples only and singles won't find any fun there. I have been to Aruba for a day on a cruise and found it to be wonderful - for anyone. Any singles out there have advice on sinlges scene in Aruba?

That's ridiculous.
Single people can have just as much fun in Aruba as anyone else.
No, it's not Ibiza.
But it's not Utah either.
|
Singles will definitely have fun in Aruba.

NO, Thrice divorced people only; strictly enforced!

When you enter Aruba from a cruise ship or from the airport, you will be asked to show proof of being in a relationship. You don't have to be married but you must be in a monogomous relationship to vacation on Aruba. This is strictly enforced by the new Aruban government.
Not only will your single friends not have any fun, they will actually be jailed if the attempt to enter the country. Don't even try it.
Ali Aruba is an entire island not a single resort. There are of course resorts on islands that are singles only or couples only or whatever but to ask this question about an entire island just makes you look foolish.

Ali, I haven't been to Aruba so I can't comment. However, I just wanted to say I'm sorry about all the rude responses. Sometimes I just don't get the obnoxiousness of this forum. Have fun on your vacation.

Dumb questions sometimes deserve rude responses xxx.

I know a few single ladies that just love it down in Aruba, Ali. The 2 ladies you mentioned will have a great time, and you don't need to be 'in each other's pockets' - plenty to do for all kinds of folks.

My friend and her hubby love it too - they are gamblers and feel they have the best of all worlds.

Hope this helps.
