interested in jamaica - any reccomendations?
 

i'm looking for somewhere to go for 4 days with my husband.. we're both 30..
wanted a short plane ride from nj/ny and somewhere warm. jamaica seems to fit the bill...

where is a nice place to stay?
is jamaica inn good?

Jamaica Inn is truly wonderful ! Do a search here for some great trip reports and also go to tripadvisor.com. for more detailed reports.

I spent 2 weeks there in April and still dream of my return :-) !

how far is jamaica inn from the airport? is it a long drive?

It's the staff at JI that makes it so truly special! Not that the grounds, beach, and rooms aren't lovely also. We've stayed there 3 times, the first time in 1996 and most recently this past May. The atmosphere and welcoming staff have not changed at all.
