Stayed at Inter Continental a year ago and loved it!! Beautiful hotel and spotless ! Like the restaurant outside ovrlooking the beach. Good food too. Also like the Italian restaurant for dinner. make early 6 pm res if you want to get a booth. They are neat. Booth has a half moon shaped seat with more then enuff room! More romantic and private then the tables. All candle lit thru-out the restaurant. Chef is known all around PR. He is young but his risotto is best evr!
Pool area gorgeous. One of the nicest I have been to thru out carib. Also a swim-up bar. Rooms good size and very clean. casino. don't gamble but looked like fun and people all seemed to enjoy it. Only thing is, you have to dress a bit aftr 5 pm ther. No shorts aftr 5 p.m in casino. Long pants are fine. Beach is perfect! Calm and easy swimming. Across frm hotel are some stores and fast food and othr restaurants within walking distance. Want pics ? Just e-mail me at >>>>>

Lmaev - We've booked this hotel for later this month. I believe you can see not only photos, but 360 degree virtual tours on their website.

Stayed at the Intercontinental in 2000. Everything was great EXCEPT the bed. It was more like being tortured trying to sleep on that bed. The bed was so hard that it stopped the circulation when sleeping on your side. I hope they have replaced them since we were there. I won't go back to that hotel until I'm sure they have replaced the torture chamber bed.

Oops, not to be missed is Ruth's Chris restaurant at the Intercontinental. Best steak I've ever had. It was truly a memorable meal which doesn't happen very often.

Just stayed here last weekend for 1 night post-cruise. LOVED it. Their power had been out due to the storms and they had just reopened after 10 days, so the staff was thrilled to see any guests at all. They provided free buffets, mimosas. The pool area was just what you would expect (wonderful) and the beach was large and very nice. I highly recommend this property.
