Inn On The Bay, Tobago

Hi, we are considering booking a 10 day holiday early October from the UK to this hotel. Any advice on this hotel, the hotel's beach, or whether this is a good time to travel there weather wise, gratefully received!

Inn on The Bay used to be formerly Palm Tree Village, they rent villas as well as hotel rooms. It's a very nice property, the beach is ok but the property isn't ON the beach, but it's very close. There is also a good bar and restaurant called The Cat and Fiddle Pub, and the hotel is owned by the same guys who own Toucan Inn and Bonkers in Crown Point.

The story is that two Engilsh chaps decided to move to Tobago and open up a bar and their friends and family thought them Bonkers, hence the name Toucan Inn and Bonkers.

As for weather,Trinidad and Tobago are more southerly than most Caribbean ISlands and hurricanes are never a legitimate threat with the exceotion of hurricane flora which hit Tobago in the 1970's.

Last year the island had a drought, but we have been seeing some rain this year at the start of the rainy season.
