Info. on Southern Palms?
 

Has anyone stayed at Southern Palms in Barbados? Any information & opinions of this resort would be appreciated. We are planning a one week trip at the end of June, with 2 adults and 3 teenagers. <BR> <BR>Thanks, <BR>Gail

I haven't stayed there myself, but had a friend there last year while I was next door at Divi. It's located on a great stretch of South coast beach known as Dover Beach and is in the St. Lawrence Gap, which is an area filled with restaurants and local night spots with good food and good entertainment. The Hotel has been recently renovated and the only down side I've heard is that the rooms are on the smallish side. Otherwise, they were quite happy there. It's an excellent area to be with teens.

We went during christmas break a few years ago. The location was terrific. The room was not large, however the six of us had a great time. The resort's pool & restaurant were very nice. The ocean was beautiful. The breakfast was expensive but great.
