If we can only afford the lowest category room at Cap Jaluca -- is it worth it?

We figured out that this is what we could afford -- are the rooms very small? Should we just choose another hotel?

thanks

Yes, take the room. If they aren't sold out, ask politely and they may upgrade you. As far as I can tell, even the cheapest rooms are far superior than other places.

even the Superior room at CJ is a luxurious experience. I believe that they are rooms that during certain periods are part of suites so they have not scrimpted on anything in them - including space. They are still very comfortable and most places cannot compare with comfort.

I have to laugh! The least expensive rooms (superior) are beautiful, same patio, same interior, lovely marble showers, same louvred doors, all beachfront! Far from small, bigger than the premium rooms at most hotels! How can you go wrong! The only problem would be they do not have many in this range, so be fexible, and try to book early!

The cheapest Rolls Royce on the road?
I'll take it, thank you very much.
The cheapest Patek Phillipe watch?
Quite a gem.
The worst room at the Four Seasons in NYC is still a Four Seasons room in one of the best hotels in the world.

If I am going in August, and going through a Virtuoso or Classic Caribbean agent what are the chances of getting an upgrade from the Superior Category?
